Penn State does not operate a centralized receiving
department. All deliveries must be made directly to
the campus location specified on the purchase order.
Shipments are normally received from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00
p.m., Monday through Friday. They are not to be left
on unattended docks without approval from authorized
individuals. Equipment that has been shipped for evaluation
by University personnel should not be delivered to the
individual department without prior approval of Purchasing
Services. The University assumes no responsibility for
test or sample equipment unless previously agreed to
by Purchasing Services.
